I knew when I left that things wouldn’t be the same, my friendships would fade, love wouldn’t last, and the place would be full of unfamiliar things when I returned… A year and a half later, my last trip back was full of laughter and new friends. The problem is though, I sit here reflecting and realize that you made absolutely no effort, I knew things would change, but I didn’t realize you’d totally shut me out. You said you’d call me so ileft you to it, you said you’d come around but you never showed. You havent even got in contact with me to say goodbye or ask how the move was. Just know that I realized. And hey, I don’t miss you.
